Jiselle joined the TROT program on February 27, 2012. This tall redhead retired from racing because of a knee chip but it causes no lameness issues. She has a brother who is a very successful dressage horse.
She is a kindhearted sweetheart of a mare and has had some great retraining after racing. She has not been ridden in the past year. However, she does have a very quirky personality (she's best described as insecure) and is only suitable for the most experienced handlers and riders. She prefers living 24/7 in a herd-type situation. She needs a home with someone who will appreciate how sweet she is and when she's having an off day, will give her the time to decompress and relax.
She's always the first one to greet you at the gate and she loves to be groomed. She's barefoot and a fairly easy keeper; she does weave if stalled or stressed. She gets along well with geldings and mares. She is low in the pecking order. Jiselle will be a fun horse with the right person!
